If you're familiar with supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analyses.Make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain set inventory levels.ResponsibilitiesPurchase Materials Monthly Yard Cycle CountsMonitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs both in our ERP system as well as the yard Inventory.Track orders and ensure timely deliveryUpdate internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better pricesPrepare cost analysesMaintain updated records of invoices and contractsFollow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change ordersLiaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good conditionRequirements:Background in any Piping / Fittings is a plusWork experience as a Purchasing Assistant or BuyerBackground in working in an ERP systemGood understanding of supply chain proceduresAdvanced knowledge of MS ExcelSolid organizational skillsBenefits offered:Paid time offHealth insuranceDental & Vision insuranceLife InsuranceFSA401kOther insurance plansPI84ae4be7ae30-25660-34415863
