Job Description:

• Assist the Superintendent with budget and levy development.
• Assist the Superintendent with long-range financial planning.
• Manage all accounting operations.
• Prepare and manage all State, Federal and Private Grants.
• Prepare financial reports for the Board of Education and Administrative use.
• Produce financial projections and estimates as required by the Superintendent.
• Responsible for Building Services Administrative and compliance duties.
• Act as Human Resource officer for the District.
• Manage all personnel records, including teacher profiles, personnel files
• Manage the District's employee health insurance and employee benefits programs.
• Manage the District's tax-sheltered annuity program.
• Process all retirements and manage the TRS and IMRF pension plans and complete reports as required.
• Manage District property, liability, casualty, worker's compensation insurance.
• Prepare reports and all other forms for the Federal and State governments.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports for Illinois State Board of Education
• Assist Superintendent with District Transportation duties.
• Prepare and oversee all State, Federal, and Regional audits for the District.
• Oversee the Purchasing, Bidding, and Inventory processes.
• Abide by the Risk Management Plan as established by the Board of Education.
• Maintain proper confidentiality and conduct guidelines in regards to students, faculty, and staff of the District.
• Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Additional Notes Seneca High School is seeking for its Business Office an honest, highly competent, caring, reliable, self-motivated, flexible, and collaborative Fiscal Services Director who regularly goes above and beyond her/his duties . The Fiscal Services Director will assist the Superintendent in administering the business affairs of the District. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and five years business experience.
