Job Description:
Illinois CancerCare is seeking to add an Accountant II to our
Finance and Accounting team. This position will report to the
Controller and be responsible for the coordination and execution of
financial activities for the business. Responsibilities include but
are not limited to supervising daily operations and processing of
accounts payable and payroll, preparing and recording monthly and
quarterly revenue and allocations in general ledger, and preparing
financial statements and forecasts. The successful candidate will
have financial accounting experience, excellent analytical and
communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team based,
high-performance culture. Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+
years of experience or equivalent. Excellent Excel and ledger
(QuickBooks preferred) skills are critical. CPA and medical
experience preferred. Tax background very beneficial.
