Job Description:
River City Inc. is looking for a seasoned Construction Director
to oversee our array of projects within the commercial and
residential sectors. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role
in guiding the strategic planning and execution of construction
projects, ensuring that we maintain our reputation for high-quality
and innovative construction solutions. This leadership position
involves coordination of all phases of construction, from concept
development through completion, aligning with our commitment to
excellence in the construction industry. Oversee the strategic
planning, development, and execution of construction projects. Lead
project teams, including managing subcontractors and coordinating
with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the
highest quality standards. Maintain compliance with all safety,
building, and environmental codes and regulations. Develop and
implement risk management strategies. Communicate effectively with
stakeholders, including clients, community groups, and regulatory
bodies. Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices and
new technologies into project plans. Strong leadership and team
management skills Excellent project management and organization
skills In-depth knowledge of construction processes, including
design, planning, construction, and renovation Ability to manage
budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities Experience with
contract negotiation and construction compliance Proficient in the
use of project management software Certified Construction Manager
(CCM) - preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) -
advantageous
