As we work at the cutting edge, we design and develop against upgrade paths and SRE needs at cloud scale "-- - - all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.You're a strong developer - some say a master, you are part visionary, part magician. You've probably solved difficult blockers with asymmetrical approaches. Your journey to Release Engineering solves hyperscale problems. Your orchestration has involved some of the best-of-breed tools. You eat acronyms like K8S, CI/CD, HA, IaC for breakfast. You don't just leverage integration; you understand its benefits and you're a driver for its adoption. You excel at breaking down problems, decoupling systems to automate, and you orchestrate the synchronous and asynchronous for deterministic outcomes. You CHARGE in fearlessly to "what we don't know"-- - looking to disambiguate and solve... and you LOVE to share your knowledge and tactics with peers and teammates for achieving successful outcomes together.What you'll achieve:As a Cloud Release Engineer you will be responsible for driving the successful development of packages and upgrade delivery methodologies and solutions across APEX. You will work with a best in class aaS Engineering, CTO and Services organizations to understand requirements and implement the development which facilitates deploying at global footprint scale.You will:Implement standard methodologies for building and releasing softwareIdentify useful new technologies which can improve efficiency and reliability and incorporating them into the CI & build release workflowsOwn and continually improve the software applications and tools that run our production and CI pipelines.Make scheduled major and minor releases: triage and debug build issues and work with developers to ensure timely resolutionLead, design and contribute directly to the efforts of automation at scaleAct as a bridge between Software Development, Hardware Development, DevOps and Program ManagementCollaborate with the team to successfully run multiple release trains in parallelTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
