Pest Control TechnicianSalary USD 35000 - 50000 Yearly - USD 35000 - 50000 YearlyLocation Peoria, Illinois, United StatesJob description Pest Control TechnicianOur Pest Control technicians are out in the communities that we serve, visiting customers and performing their pest control treatments. They also offer customers additional products and services that may be beneficial, which present great opportunities to earn commissions on top of a guaranteed hourly wage.Daily responsibilities include:Applying pesticides to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructionsResponding on a timely basis to customers' requests for telephone and in-person service calls + calling customers to confirm scheduled servicesIdentifying and acting upon opportunities to sell additional products or servicesWe require:High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver's licenseWe prefer:Prior industry experience but it's not required.You are personable and enjoy interacting with customersYou are self-motivated and have a strong work ethicYou can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groupsYou are detailed oriented and understand the importance of safetyYou have a good aptitude for basic math- necessary for doing calculations related to sales and serviceYou should be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and atticsFor safety reasons (respirators must seal to your face) our Pest Techs aren't able to have facial hair outside of a well-trimmed mustacheWhy should I choose Quik-Kill (or Peoria) Pest Eliminators?
