behavioral health center that serves children, adults, and families
throughout northcentral Illinois through our innovative prevention,

behavioral health, school, church, industry and other partners in
the area. Arukah is located in Princeton, IL, which offers a
relaxed, affordable atmosphere with a vibrant downtown shopping
area and easy access to Chicago.The Chief Operating and Compliance
Officer will facilitate key functions of a high-performance
behavioral health organization, based on Arukah's company culture
of meeting client needs through the delivery of high-quality care,
serving the needs of internal team members, employing continuous
improvement, and achieving the financial goals. The Chief Operating
and Compliance Officer (COCO) will provide strategic leadership and
ensure regulatory compliance for the diverse array of Arukah's
programs and services. Working with the senior management team, the
COCO will establish systems, processes, standards and policies to
ensure services are integrated-both intra- and
inter-organizationally with the C5-Rural Network's 25+
members-through clear care pathways and achievement of quality and
compliance standards for patient care, all in a cost-effective
fashion.Education:--- A business-related undergraduate degree is
required, and an MBA or equivalent work experience is
preferred.Experience:--- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership
experience in multi-functional areas of behavioral/mental health
services and with clinicians.--- Proven track record of developing
strong company cultures which drive business strategy.--- Thorough
knowledge of behavioral health care compliance and regulatory
issues.--- Demonstrated advanced communications skills in the areas
of active listening, written,verbal or non-verbal means of
expressing ideas effectively including adjustinglanguage,
terminology or the organization of concepts to the characteristics
andneeds of the audience.--- Strong presentation
skillsResponsibilities:--- Translate the vision, mission, values
and strategic directions of strategic plans intoconcrete, specific,
understandable, and measurable operational and
individualcontribution plans, ensuring all team members and
partners understand how theycontribute to the system.--- In
collaboration with the senior leadership team, establish practical,
integratedstrategic and operational planning processes, aligned
with the business plan, andresulting in clear direction for
decentralized service delivery to a rural landscape.--- Establish
key operational performance measures for behavioral health and
addictionsservices, and a system to collect, analyze and report
progress on the effectiveness ofthe services and achievement of
compliance, quality and service targets.--- In concert with the
CFO, implement a financial model and financial managementsystem
that ensures an accurate, current understanding of drivers of
expense,budgets, revenues and expenditures and focuses on long-term
financial sustainability.--- Develop and implement processes that
will identify and monitor potential risks thatmay impact the
delivery of patient care and operational/financial goals. Develop
aplan to mitigate risks as well as business cases for needed
changes to service lines, e.g.,new or expanded services or the
elimination of outdated or ineffective services.--- Support
Arukah's managed care contracting and payor relations activities to
ensurecustomer satisfaction with internal and external parties
involved in payor contracting.--- Serve as a linchpin between human
resources, marketing/communications, andclinical operations. Assess
and appropriate the right level of service to ensure patientsare
served with the highest level of quality.--- Ensure compliance with
all federal, state, and company policies, standards of
practiceguidelines, protocols regarding behavioral health and
addictions services, payoragreements, accreditation and applicable
