Summary : Under limited supervision, directs the HIV Prevention and Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) programs. Plans and assists in the development & implementation of related policies and procedures. Oversees contracts with local community-based organizations. Directs subordinate managers and staff. Develops long and short-term goals for HIV prevention services, develops and monitors program budget activities and expenditures. Maintains awareness of advances in biomedical interventions to prevent HIV, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance charges and financing options. This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties. Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND three years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND four years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND five years of management/supervisory experience in healthcare services OR two years of experience at the lower level MGR 3, Hlth Care (HCM012) or position equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in HIV prevention and biomedical interventions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
