CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Global Grain & Processing division. We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all plant operations at our Ethanol Plant in Annawan, IL. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have the ability to multi-task, and problem solve.Responsibilities

• 
  Manage the entire operation according to divisional objectives while maintaining the efficiency necessary to achieve a high quality product and maximize profit
  • Manage all production schedules and activities of the operation to fill all customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with EH&S manager to develop and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety programs (EH&S) and policies
  • Partner with the maintenance department on developing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program
  • Partner with the engineering team to vet new products and products, develop into projects and execute on projects.
  • Supervise and support training of all plant personal with emphasis on improving productivity, food safety, and developing a safe working environment
  • Work with quality control to address product quality issues immediately
  • Initiate budget consistent with plant needs and corporate goals; monitor daily operations and expenses to fall within budgetary guidelines
  • Manage the team through responsible training, clear job assignment definition and explanation, correct deficient performance, and effectively reward and develop all employees, partnering closely with your HR Business Partner
  • Champion CHS policies, procedures and enterprise-wide mindsetMinimum Qualifications (required)
    • 
      Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Food Science or equivalent work experience
    • 10+ years experience of plant management and/or leading plant operations
    • 5+ years experience managing budgets and P/LAdditional Qualifications
      • 
        Certified Plant or Manufacturing Engineer
      • Experience with Kosher certificates
      • Experience with LEAN and continuous improvement practices
      • Experience building diverse and collaborative cultures
      • Knowledge of state and federal regulations: OSHA, EPA, EEO/AA
