Job Description:
Overview
To perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiological
procedures for patients of all ages in order to confirm or deny
required treatment. This requires independent judgment to adapt
procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the
direction of a radiologist.
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency
Management Agency (IEMA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months - American Heart
Association (AHA)
Education:
Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiology Technology or
Related Field.
Other Knowledge/Skills:
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential
functions of the position.
Responsibilities
Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures in a manner that ensures
an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines,
policies, procedures and standards of the department to assigned
patients of all ages.
Maintains working knowledge of equipment in order to function in
multiple areas of the department.
Performs support functions of the department to ensure patient
expectations and needs are met.
Assumes personal responsibility for training fellow
technologist/students and uses time, supplies and other resources
productively to promote responsive and cost effective care for our
patients.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $26.27per hour -
$43.87per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum
range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The
actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a
variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's
experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts
