Overview Sign on bonus eligible! $15,000 for external candidates Starting pay for this position is $44.00/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Peds Intermediate Clinical Resource Team (CRT) Peds Float Pool provides the highest level of care for Peds patients throughout the inpatient stay within OSF HealthCare. The RN is empowered to participate in an interdisciplinary approach to meet the expectations of those we serve, floats to 3 OSF facilities across the level of care, and will be scheduled for 5 out of 6 weekends per 6-week schedule. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care provided to patients throughout the system. The RN must be highly knowledgeable and possess strong nursing skills necessary to provide excellent patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served within their RN specialty. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse BLS, PALS and NRP from the American Heart Association Experience: 2 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting, with at least one of those years in Peds Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented EOE including Individuals with Disabilities and Veterans
