POSITION SUMMARY: ---The Physician is responsible for providing
compassionate, high quality, patient-centered care. Demonstrates
positive working relationships and demonstrates collaborative
team-oriented behaviors with: staff physicians, nurses, other
departments, other members of the medical staff.The OSF
Cardiovascular Institute, part of OSF HealthCare, seeks a BC/BE
Electrophysiologist in Bloomington, Illinois. A well-established
cardiology program is looking to expand EP services in their
Bloomington, IL practice. Join an eight-person team consisting of
six cardiologist and two APNs as well as access to five EP's in
Peoria, IL. OSF HealthCare consists of fourteen hospitals and
medical centers, one long-term facility and two colleges of
nursing.--- The cardiovascular service line consists over 55
Cardiologists and surgeons. You will walk into a progressive
practice that will be busy from day one with a primary care
referral base of 300+ providers. Join our full service practice,
including inpatient and outpatient, in a fully functional state of
the art $25 million contemporary office located on hospital campus
with state of the art equipment. Cath labs, a hybrid OR and
non-invasive imaging are in place. Call will be shared with other
Cardiologists.--- OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center is a
Magnet designated hospital located in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois,
a 149-bed, not-for-profit, Level II Trauma Center.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate
Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in
current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate
specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and
appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for
Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal heath programs. Physician
shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for
professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by
the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of
Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to
provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs
