Neurology Opportunity (Epilepsy, Neuromuscular) - Peoria, IL

UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Board-Certified Neurologist to join our Peoria, IL Neurology practice.

Overview:

• 
  
• This established Practice with 4 Neurologists sees patients in-clinic and in our 3 area hospitals.
  
• We are adding a new position due to need in the community for access to Neurology specialty. This is an opportunity for a Neurologist to quickly establish a practice with new patients who are awaiting care.
  
• Onsite services at our clinics include EEG, EMG, and Nerve Condition Studies.
  
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

  Responsibilities
  
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Our Neurologist team sees patients in-clinic on weekdays during Clinic Hours, and then rotate call in the hospital 1 week out of every 4, with no Clinic hours during Call weeks.
    
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
    
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
    
  • Provide the best outcome for every patient every time
    
    
    
    
    Qualifications:
    
    
    
    
    • 
      
    • MD or DO
      
    • Board Certified Neurologist
      
    • Clinical Interest or Fellowship training in Epileptology or Neuromuscular
      
    • Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in the state of Illinois
      
    • Eligible to work in the United States
