TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61636 Pay Information $2,362 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Med/Surg Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience License: Illinois State RN License in good standing Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write) Job Description: - Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care through the nursing process, nursing trends, and technology. - Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit specific to the scope of service. - Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice. - Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to integrate information for use by the healthcare team. - Complete initial assessment upon patient admission and develop an appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards, based on patient and family needs. - Implement the plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures. - Modify the plan of care based on continuous evaluation. - Take responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and correcting safety hazards and incidents. - Communicate directly and privately with others when necessary to resolve issues. - Offer constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers and confer with colleagues to expand the knowledge base. - Identify own learning needs and take initiative to begin appropriate solutions. - Fulfill all requirements of departmental competencies. 27128081EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
