Serves as a patient advocate at all times.Supervises the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers. Develops the plan for nursing care as a result of coordination with the patient, family and staff of other disciplines as necessary.Applies critical thinking in order to promote positive clinical outcomes. Ensures patient education. Participates in discharge planning.Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma/ GEDExperience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)Licensure/ Certification:-Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider-BLS is required prior to start date of employment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: BSNExperience: Experience as an RN in a critical care settingKnowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiencyOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.by Jobble
