Seeking an experienced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a primary care role in Ketchikan, Alaska, a vibrant, community-oriented island known for outdoor adventures and rich native culture. Ideal candidate certified in Family Medicine with rural medicine interest, preferably with post-training primary care experience, and able to collaborate within a 7-member team. Practice offers full-scope Family Medicine (no OB), with a well-equipped Critical Access facility, Monday-----"Friday hours, no on-call duties, averaging 15 patients/day, and supportive staff including CMA, RN, and EPIC EMR. Compensation includes guaranteed first-year income ($82.77-----"$94.30/hr), employment bonus, relocation stipend, loan repayment, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities encompass patient assessment, prescribing, medication management, health education, and maintaining accurate records, with opportunities for ongoing professional growth. Qualifications require licensure in Alaska or applicable states, CPR certification, and effective communication skills. Additional experience in behavioral health, wound care, orthopedics, palliative, or cardiology is preferred. Must be able to relocate within reasonable distance to Ketchikan.
