Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT certification, BLS, IEMA (Illinois), and Level 1 Trauma experience. Responsibilities - Night shift position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with 12-hour shifts - CT and diagnostic radiology procedures performed in a hospital setting - Patient population includes all ages in a Level 1 Trauma environment - Procedures include routine and specialized CT studies, invasive procedures, and bedside lab testing as needed - Uses Epic EMR for charting; experience with Epic is required - Major duties include performing and adapting CT and radiographic procedures, assisting with invasive procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring accurate documentation - Expected to participate in department QA, QC, and QI programs, as well as training and supporting fellow technologists and students - Must follow departmental policies for patient safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance - No local candidates accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility - Requested time off (RTO) may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract - Scrubs or professional attire as required by the department dress code - Returning travelers may not work more than 1 year continuously at this facility and must take a 6-month break before returning - Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment Requirements - Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications - IEMA Radiography License (Illinois) required if applicable - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology - Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience - Demonstrated Level 1 Trauma experience - Epic EMR experience required - Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate effective communication skills Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624734.
