Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring Epic charting and Level 1 trauma experience. Responsibilities - Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital setting - Night shift schedule, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week - Care provided to adult cardiovascular and trauma patients - Use of Epic EMR is required - Level 1 Trauma unit environment - Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care - Engage in evidence-based practice, performance improvement, and quality initiatives - Provide individualized patient and family education using appropriate teaching strategies - Involvement in clinical decision-making, care planning, and patient advocacy - Collaboration with healthcare team members for positive patient outcomes - Must be able to provide lab specimens and perform bedside lab testing as needed - RTO requests not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract - Contingent workers may not be assigned longer than one year without a six-month break - No travel partners accepted for this assignment Requirements - Active IL RN license or valid temporary license - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required - Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting - Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association - Epic charting experience required - Level 1 trauma experience required - Candidates cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611457.
