Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Day Shift Med/Surg
Admit/Discharge Unit position with Level 1 Trauma and Epic charting
experience in Illinois. Responsibilities - Position is located in a
hospital Advance Care Admit/Discharge Unit - Day shift schedule,
7:00 am to 7:30 pm, three 12-hour shifts per week - Unit serves
adult medical/surgical patient population with various acute and
chronic conditions - Requires rapid assessment, early complication
identification, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams -
Epic EMR experience required - Nurses perform bedside lab testing
and specimen collection in compliance with hospital procedures -
Must develop and adapt individualized care plans collaboratively
with patients, families, and healthcare teams - Responsible for
patient education using SVI patient education system - Work must
comply with national patient safety goals, evidence-based practice,
and hospital quality measures - Up to 7 days of requested time off
permitted per 13-week contract - Returning travelers must have a
6-month break if previously assigned for a year at any Carle Health
location - No travel partners accepted for this assignment
Requirements - Active IL RN license or temporary Illinois RN
license accepted - Current BLS certification required - Minimum of
one year relevant nursing experience required - Experience in a
Level 1 Trauma center is required - Documented experience with Epic
charting system is required - College diploma in Nursing required -
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local
