Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a night shift ICU position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and
proficiency with Epic charting. Responsibilities - Work in a
hospital-based Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Night shift schedule
from 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week - Cares for a
high-acuity, critical care patient population in a Level 1 Trauma
environment - Epic EMR system experience required - Responsible for
collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement
patient care plans - Involved in patient and family education,
adapting teaching strategies to individual needs - Participates in
performance improvement projects and adheres to national patient
safety goals - Required to document patient progress and update
care plans throughout each shift - Adheres to hospital standards of
care, evidence-based practices, and quality initiatives - Holiday
coverage may be required according to unit needs - Maximum of 7
days of requested time off permitted per 13-week contract - No
travel partners accepted for this assignment - Contingent workers
may not continuously work more than one year and must take a
six-month break before returning Requirements - Active IL RN
license or temporary license accepted - Minimum of one year recent
relevant nursing experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications
from the American Heart Association - Prior Level 1 Trauma
experience required - Epic charting experience required -
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required - Candidates must live more
than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates Benefits -
