Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift
position in Illinois with EPIC and Level 1 Trauma experience.
Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit - Night shift
schedule: 7:00pm to 7:30am, 3 shifts per week - EPIC EMR system is
utilized and experience is required - Serves adult patients with a
variety of medical and surgical needs - Assignment length is 13
weeks - Floating may be required as per facility needs - Provides
comprehensive nursing care including assessment, care planning,
implementation, and evaluation - Must maintain accurate and
up-to-date nursing documentation - Works collaboratively with peers
and communicates effectively across multidisciplinary teams -
Accountable for patient and employee safety, including reporting
and correction of safety hazards - Supports professional
development of peers through feedback and knowledge sharing - No
travel partners are accepted for this assignment - Time off
requests may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract - Contingent
workers may not remain on assignment at this health system for more
than 1 year; a 6-month break is required before any return - Scrub
or dress code compliance required per facility guidelines - Holiday
coverage may be required per unit needs Requirements - Active
Illinois RN license or temporary permit in good standing required -
BLS certification from American Heart Association required -
Minimum of 1 year recent relevant nursing experience in a similar
setting - Documented EPIC charting experience required - Level 1
Trauma experience required - ASN required, BSN preferred -
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be
