Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Invasive
position, requiring EPIC charting proficiency and Level 1 trauma
experience. Responsibilities - Work in a cardiovascular invasive
unit within a hospital setting - Patient population includes those
requiring cardiovascular procedures and interventions - Shift
consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week - EPIC EMR is used and
prior experience is required - Responsibilities include applying
the nursing process, developing individualized patient care plans,
and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams - Expected to
utilize evidence-based practices and perform patient assessments,
evaluations, and documentation - Role involves performing patient
bedside lab testing and assisting with lab specimen collection -
Scrub attire required in care areas as appropriate - RTO (Requested
Time Off) should not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract - No local
candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from facility -
Contingent workers may not remain on assignment longer than one
year without a 6-month break Requirements - Current Illinois RN
license in good standing; temp license accepted, license required
if applicable - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart
Association required - ASN required, BSN preferred - Minimum three
years of applicable experience preferred; minimum one year relevant
nursing experience required - Level 1 trauma experience required -
Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required - Strong critical thinking,
communication, and multicultural sensitivity skills - Basic
computer literacy including word processing and spreadsheets
