Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Staff \n\n RN – Emergency Clinical Coordinator (Nights, 7p–7a) \n Location: Abrazo Arrowhead Campus – Glendale, AZ Schedule: Full Time | 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (12-hr nights) Incentives: $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires night shift differential \n Role overview \n The Emergency Clinical Coordinator provides on-shift leadership for the Emergency Department, coordinating patient flow, staffing, and clinical operations to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality care. This role serves as a primary liaison with ED physicians, hospital leadership, ancillary departments, and pre-hospital/EMS partners. The coordinator mentors bedside staff, supports regulatory readiness, and champions performance improvement aligned to ED quality metrics. \n What you’ll do \n \n Lead real-time ED operations on nights: triage support, bed assignment/turnover, throughput, and escalation for high-acuity cases. \n Serve as clinical resource for RNs/techs: coach best practices in rapid assessment, resuscitation, pain/PONV control, sepsis/STEMI/stroke pathways, and safe handoffs. \n Round for quality and safety; reinforce documentation standards, medication safety, and core measures compliance. \n Collaborate with ED medical director, charge RNs, house supervisor, lab, imaging, respiratory, and inpatient units to reduce LWOT and door-to-disposition times. \n Partner with EMS for smooth transitions; participate in debriefs and incident reviews. \n Precept, mentor, and support competency validation for new and experienced staff. \n Contribute to scheduling input, resource allocation, and supply/equipment readiness. \n Assist leadership with policy rollouts, audits, and survey/regulatory preparedness. \n \n Required qualifications \n \n Current RN license (Arizona or compact). \n BLS and ACLS (AHA). \n PALS or ENPC (or obtained within 90 days of hire). \n Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions in high-stress situations; strong communication and teamwork skills. \n \n Preferred qualifications \n \n 1 years recent ED experience (community or academic setting). \n Prior charge, preceptor, or coordinator experience. \n TNCC and CEN certifications. \n BSN or higher degree. \n \n Why Abrazo Arrowhead Emergency Department \n \n Night shift differential $15,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility rules apply). \n High-acuity, high-volume ED with strong physician partnership and dedicated ancillary support (respiratory, lab, imaging on site). \n Growth & leadership pathway : robust education, preceptor opportunities, and support for specialty certifications. \n Team culture that has your back : collaborative leaders, consistent feedback loops, and swift barrier removal to keep care moving. \n Modern Glendale location just off Loop-101 with convenient parking and access to dining and amenities. \n Comprehensive benefits package. \n \n\n\n \n\n\n LI-TW2 \n Tenet AZ Job ID 2503004593.
