Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of cardiac catheterization experience and active ARRT and BLS certifications. Responsibilities - Work in an acute care Level 1 trauma setting in a cardiac catheterization lab - Six procedure suites, with an average caseload of 10 to 15 cases per day - Patients are treated primarily for cardiac diagnoses; lab operates separately from IR and EP departments - Day shifts, 9-10 hours in length, with rotation for weekends and holidays - On-call coverage required weekly on a rotational basis, typically 8-9 shifts per month, with 30-minute response time - Uses Epic for charting, with equipment including PACS and McKesson systems - No floating required at this time - Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during cardiac cath procedures - Orientation provided, typically 3 to 5 days - Scrubs are provided by the hospital - Call shifts are mandatory and managed via a call list - Primary charge nurse available from 0600 to 1530, but does not routinely complete cases - No COVID-19 vaccination requirement - Local rates apply for candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility Requirements - Minimum of 1 year recent cath lab technologist experience - Active ARRT and BLS certifications required - Active Illinois license or proof of application in process (license required if applicable) - IEMA certification required - Experience with Epic EMR preferred - Previous pediatric experience preferred but not required - Skills in scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating are required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629851.
