qualified Endoscopy RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61615! Pay Information
$2,626 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse -
Endoscopy Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM -
4:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of three (3) years applicable
experience License: Current RN license in good standing
Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS (American
Heart Association) Must-Have: - Fluent in English (reading,
writing, comprehension, speaking) - Basic computer knowledge using
word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser -
Multicultural sensitivity - Critical thinking skills with
independent judgment in decision-making Description: As a member of
the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional
nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of
care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
You will promote the use of observation and physical assessment of
actual problems and outcomes. You will develop an individualized
plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient and
health care team. You will use appropriate interventions identified
in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes. You will
systematically evaluate and document the patient's progress toward
expected outcomes on an ongoing basis throughout the shift. You
will modify the plan of care based on evaluation and evidence-based
practice through the nursing process, protocols, and procedures.
You will assess the patient's status through interviews and
observations as needed based on changes in patient condition. You
will complete required documentation as appropriate, including
patient charts and event reports. You will demonstrate professional
accountability for your practice through seeking resources and
continued self-development. You will demonstrate technical
knowledge of equipment and troubleshoot when problems arise. You
will acquire and maintain current knowledge and skills in
evidence-based nursing practice. You will promote the professional
development of yourself and team members. You will share clinical
knowledge through informal teaching and in response to the learning
needs of others. You will demonstrate a practical problem-solving
approach to patient moving and handling issues, as applicable. You

for testing. You will perform patient bedside lab testing and
associated quality control in compliance with medical provider
orders and hospital lab procedures/policies. You will coordinate
interdisciplinary care of the patient through collaboration with
team members and utilize additional resources when necessary. You
will analyze clinical situations systematically and act to obtain
resources or correct problems to meet or exceed expected outcomes
or patient needs. You will recognize the need for assistance and
utilize resources, including physician and peer consultation, in a
timely manner. You will demonstrate ownership and persistence to
ensure problems are resolved in the best way possible. You will be
able to assume assignments of non-complex and some complex patient
management with some turnover in assignments. You will consistently
prioritize your work based on changes in patient condition, changes
in assignments, and unanticipated interruptions. You will identify
and utilize team resources to solve identified problems or needs.
You will collaborate with the health care team in organizing tasks
and activities for patient care from admission to discharge
according to the plan of care. You will work with other team
members in delegating tasks and activities appropriately. You will
provide goal-focused shift reports. You will advocate with
physicians on patients' behalf when necessary. You will utilize
communication and teamwork strategies aimed at promoting high team
performance and achieving optimal patient outcomes and unit
productivity. You will choose an appropriate communication style
when interacting with others and give and accept constructive
feedback from peers. You will adhere to assigned weekly, weekend,
and holiday call shifts in accordance with hospital policies and
