Job Description Overview JOB SPECIFICS Busy urology group is seeking additional urologist for patient care. Join a team of five urologists, seven advanced practice providers, and two private surgical techs. Strong APP support: They handle inpatient large amount of rounding and clinic visits, allowing you to focus more on surgery . Call is 1:6 weekends. (Most holiday coverage is handled by two part-time urologists) Faculty Opportunity to Build Urology Residency Program High quality medical services using robotic and laparoscopic surgical skills. Three daVinci robotics available for use at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. A major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois, College of Medicine at Peoria, OSF partners with both residency and fellowship programs. It is the area’s only Level 1Trauma Center. Referral support from a large multi-specialty group and robust hospitalist group. OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center is the fifth largest medical center in Illinois. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
