2026 - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM –
7:30 AM) - Hours: 36 hours/week (3x12 hour shifts) - Guaranteed
Hours: 36 per week - On Call: No on-call required - Estimated
Weekly Salary Range: $2130-$2190 Registered Nurse Qualifications -
Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience or relevant clinical
experience - Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor
of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Active Illinois RN license
in good standing - BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Oncology RN Responsibilities - Deliver compassionate, professional
care to oncology patients using the nursing process - Perform all
duties required by the oncology unit and scope of service -
Implement procedures and best practices in oncology nursing -
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical
support activities - Complete initial patient assessments and
develop individualized care plans - Modify care plans based on
ongoing evaluation and patient needs - Promote patient and staff
safety by identifying and correcting hazards - Communicate
effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team -
Support professional development of peers through feedback and
mentorship - Identify personal learning needs and pursue continuing
education - Meet all departmental competency requirements for
