Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel CT Technologist (CT) - Acute Care Please note: 2 Years of CT Tech experience required within the last 5 years CT Job Summary: We are looking for a talented CT Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Peoria, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your computed tomography skills while advancing your career as a CT Tech. The travel assignment will entail acquiring diagnostic images by performing CT scans. You care about patients and take responsibility for their safety and mental and physical comfort. You will prepare and position patients for capture of diagnostic images, operate imaging equipment, and coordinate with physician. Job Responsibilities: - Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. - Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by physician. - Perform computed tomography scans using designated equipment.
