Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Peoria, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,812 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Intermediate Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years of CVICU or Cardiac ICU Background License: Active State License Required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred, CCRN or PCCN a Plus Must-Have: MUST have CVICU or Cardiac ICU background. Experience with cardiovascular interventions and patient monitoring. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage critical situations. Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, communication, organization, and teamwork. Description: Responsible for providing care in an intermediate cardiac unit. Manage patients with diverse cardiac conditions including stepdown patients from ICU. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of cardiovascular monitoring equipment. Administer and titrate various medications including intravenous drips. Support patients who may be trached or require ventilator support. Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care. Participate in team-based care and contribute to collaborative decision-making. Demonstrate compassion and provide emotional support to patients and families. Assist with the training and orientation of new staff as needed. Adhere to established protocols and standards of nursing practice. Be prepared to float to the ICU when necessary. Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as required. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code policies.
