Job Description:
Overview The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to
nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and
evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to
individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of
practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. The patient
population consists of individuals experiencing drug and alcohol
abuse/addition and psychiatric conditions. Qualifications
Certifications: Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) -
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
(IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart
Association (AHA), Education: College Diploma: Nursing; Work
Experience: Responsibilities Provides and facilitates competent
health care of patients and families in area of practice. Ensures
adherence to established standards of care and scope of
practice.Ensures documentation of care is complete and
accurate.Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development
of departmental standing orders and PI.Medication
administrationPatient educationProvides health and wellness
education to individuals and groups related to substance use and
abuse, as well as recovery Provides nursing input for initiatives
designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes within

The compensation range for this position is $30.39per hour -
$52.27per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum
range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The
actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a
variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s
experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts
