Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Davenport, IA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $290 to $295 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position is seeking dedicated Locum OB/GYN physicians to provide weekday and weekend coverage — bringing compassionate care to mothers and newborns in the heart of Iowa . Position Highlights Flexible Scheduling Options: Choose 24-hour in-house shifts (8a–8a) or 12-hour shifts (8a–8p) based on your preference Coverage Needed: Monday–Friday with some weekends Practice Setting: OB & GYN hospital coverage – 24 hours of comprehensive care Call Ratio: 1:5 | Schedule provided 1–2 months in advance EMR: Cerner Credentialing Timeframe: depending on applicant speed ??? Your Role Includes Triage and deliver Genesis OB patients (avg. 65–80 deliveries per month ) Cover Genesis ER calls for OB/GYN Round on inpatients and manage postpartum care Handle “no-doc” patients (~1/day) Perform circumcisions (optional) Collaborate with an outstanding team including 1–2 Certified Nurse Midwives , Labor & Delivery nurses, and OR staff Work alongside residents during call shifts Required Skills & Procedures Obstetrics: High & Low Risk Pregnancies FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening) Amniocentesis Labor & Delivery: Vaginal & C-Section Deliveries VBACs Breech & Multiple Births 3rd & 4th Degree Laceration Repairs Gynecology: Laparoscopic Procedures (Tubal Ligation, LOA’s) Open and Operative Surgeries (Ectopic, Cystectomy, Oophorectomy) ? Requirements Board Certified in OB/GYN (FM OB not accepted) Active Iowa License or IMLC (LOQ required at submission) Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWOHNN) Weekday availability required (Mon–Fri minimum; weekends welcome!)
