Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Springfield, Illinois,

12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active
Illinois license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS
preferred Must-Have: Experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.
Experience with IV therapy/Phlebotomy is essential. Skills in
medication management, especially Heparin and Insulin. Experience
with respiratory care and management. Knowledge of isolation
precautions and wound care. Description: The position is for a
Medical Surgical RN. This role requires working three 12-hour night
shifts, typically from 18:45 to 07:15. Every other weekend schedule
is expected. The average daily census on the unit is 21 patients.
Clinicians will float as needed within the scope of practice.
Applicants must meet minimum experience requirements, with
first-time travelers accepted. Required skills include
administering blood products, managing IVs, and performing arterial
blood gas interpretations. Previous charge experience is preferred.
Preferred experience working in teaching hospitals or community
hospitals. Preferred certifications include BLS and ACLS.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and discuss requests
with management. No more than five days of time off is ideal.
Floating is required for all travelers. Experience with various
patient diagnoses, including COPD exacerbation and pneumonia, is
essential. Candidates should possess the ability to work
collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. All clinicians must
complete compliance needs in a timely manner throughout the
