Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Peoria, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,758 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 9 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9H Days Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active IL license required Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS Must-Have: - EKG interpretation - Drip titration experience Description: The unit has 6 labs for pre-op and phase 2 recovery. On average, there are 20-30 cases per day. Common diagnoses include GI bleed, strokes, biopsies, central lines, drainage, and vascular cases. A Charge RN is present from 0730 to 1700 and does not take patients. The Charge RN will perform cases and cover lunches. There is one Patient Care Technician available. Shifts are scheduled for 4 days per week, with hours between 0630 and 1800. Shifts are 9 hours long and are not self-scheduled. The primary and secondary call requirement is 6-8 shifts in 6 weeks, including weekends. Holiday call is also required, though the department is closed on holidays. The call response time is 30 minutes. There are no floating requirements. Surgical scrubs are provided for staff. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:1 intra-procedural and a maximum of 1:4 in phase 2 recovery. The work environment includes emergency department, intensive care unit, or procedural settings.
