position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. This role
requires working three 12-hour shifts during the day. The average
daily patient census is 21. Experience with a patient ratio of 7 is
preferred. The nurse will be expected to float as needed to meet
department needs. Candidates should be amenable to working every
other weekend. Required skills include administering total
parenteral nutrition, NG insertion, and tube feeding management.
Candidates must have experience with heparin drips and
administering medications such as amiodarone and Lasix (not
titrated). Interdisciplinary support services are available,
including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social
services. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems,
specifically Cerner. This role involves caring for adult and
geriatric patients with various diagnoses, such as GI bleed and
pancreatitis. The ability to handle TPN administration and manage
complex patient needs is crucial. Floating within the facility and
