Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a night shift ICU position in Illinois requiring Level 1 trauma and
EPIC charting experience. Responsibilities - Work in the Intensive
Care Unit (ICU) setting - Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per
week (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) - Cares for critically ill adult patients
in a hospital environment - Use of EPIC electronic medical record
system is required - This is a 13-week travel assignment - Provide
comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and
current clinical practices - Complete assessments, develop and
implement care plans, and maintain thorough documentation - Respond
to and manage emergency situations for critically ill patients -
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support professional
development of peers - RTO (requested time off) not to exceed 7
total days per 13-week contract - Travel partners are not accepted
on this assignment - Assignment at this facility may not exceed one
year in length without a 6-month break before returning
Requirements - Active Illinois RN license (permanent or temp) in
good standing required - Minimum of one year relevant ICU nursing
experience; three years preferred - Current BLS and ACLS
certifications from the American Heart Association required -
Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred - Level 1
trauma experience required - Demonstrated EPIC charting experience
required - Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) -
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates
