Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Peoria, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,986 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61637! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Gastrointestinal Services Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10 Hours Days Hours per Shift: 0800-1830 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Versatile, solid preoperative and Phase II recovery RN skills. Strong advanced airway management and IV skills. Ability to manage 2-3 patients with a typical recovery period of 30-45 minutes. Proficient in post-anesthesia care, airway management, procedural sedation, and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Description: The role involves caring for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. The average number of cases per day ranges from 20-30. Common diagnoses include EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, stone management, and GI bleed. Both inpatient and outpatient care is provided. The shift is scheduled Monday through Friday, with no weekends or call required. There is a charge nurse available on each shift for support. The charting system used is EPIC. Nursing staff must provide their own scrubs, with no specific color requirement. A week of unit-specific orientation is provided.
