Job Description We are seeking a Locum Tenens Psychiatrist in
Iowa. Locum Tenens Psychiatrist - Position Type: Locum Tenens -
Specialty: Physician - Psychiatry - Location: Iowa - Rate: Open &
Negotiable - Shift: Monday - Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM (7 days on / 7
days off rotation) - Start Date: June 2025 - End Date: Ongoing
Position Details - Patient Population: Ages 6 and up - Setting:
Hospital - Inpatient - Responsibilities: - Inpatient Psychiatry
(Adult & Adolescent Units) - Hospital Consults, ER Consults -
Supervising APPs - Rotating call duties (weeknight & weekend
possible) - Required Procedures: - Family Therapy, Group Therapy -
Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion Therapy - Restraint Application,
Voluntary Commitments - EMR System: Cerner - Support Staff: 2
Advanced Practice Providers - Days Per Month: Full-time rotating
schedule - On-Call/Weekends: As needed Submission Requirements -
Board Certified in Psychiatry - REQUIRED - Must be able to work 7
days on / 7 days off - REQUIRED - Active IA License or IMLC -
REQUIRED - Inpatient Experience - REQUIRED - Experience treating
patients ages 6 - REQUIRED - Experience with specified psychiatric
conditions and treatments - REQUIRED - 2 years of inpatient
