Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights - Employment Type: Staff Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Full Time All shifts open Peoria, IL Join a collaborative imaging team performing high?quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast?paced hospital environment. This full?time, day?shift role offers strong pay, differentials, and a generous sign?on bonus for experienced technologists. Schedule & Pay - Full time – 40 hours/week - 36 hour option available. - Day shift: 7:00am–3:30pm - Weekend & holiday rotation - Weekend differential: $2.50/hr - Sign?on bonus: $15,000 for eligible candidates - Candidates with 5 years of direct experience receive 24 hours of vacation/holiday time on day 1 Role Overview As part of a multidisciplinary care team and under the direction of a radiologist, the Diagnostic Radiology Technologist: - Performs routine and specialized radiographic procedures - Uses independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation safely - Conducts patient intake and gathers medical history - Explains imaging procedures and ensures patient comfort - Operates imaging equipment proficiently - Demonstrates strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, and technical factors - Adapts techniques for pediatric, geriatric, and medically complex patients - Collaborates with providers to determine if additional imaging is needed Required Qualifications - Completion of an accredited Radiography program (certificate or degree) - ARRT registration (required at hire or within 2 years; must sit for exam within 6 months) - AHA BLS certification Preferred Qualifications - Experience performing routine diagnostic procedures in General Radiology - Customer service or patient?experience background Benefits - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision - Retirement plan with employer match - Generous PTO - Professional development support - Well?being and recognition programs Recruiter Contact: Matthew Charles Medical Solutions Direct Hire P: I About Medical Solutions Direct Hire At Medical Solutions, we’re people who care, helping people who care.
