Job Description Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IMC / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity cardiac stepdown unit. The RN will care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced nursing care, but not ICU-level support. Responsibilities: - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (telemetry) - Provide care for cardiac patients (CHF, MI, arrhythmias, CAD, etc.) - Administer medications including cardiac and vasoactive drips - Manage IV lines, central lines, and PICC lines - Assist with post-cardiac procedures (cath, stents, surgeries) - Respond to emergencies and rapid response situations - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care Active RN License (IL)/nMinimum 2 years of Telemetry/IMC/Stepdown experience (Required)/nBLS & ACLS Certification (Required)/nExperience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/nExperience with drips, IV therapy, and cardiac patient care/nAbility to float to similar units About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
