Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: - Shift: 12H Nights - Total Weekly Hours: 36 - Certifications: BLS - Trauma Level: - Facility Specific Job Notes: Experience Requirements:/n- Minimum 2 years of experience required./n- Previous Charge Experience: Required./n- Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred./n- Solid foundation in medical/surgical nursing required for first-timers./n/nClinical Skills and Experience:/n- Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Med/Surg./n- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams./n- Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure./n- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs./n- Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin./n- Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-Evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Portable Oxygen tank./n- Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac./n/nCertifications and Licensure:/n- BLS certification required./n- Active IL RN license required at submission./n- No RQI cards accepted, AHA and Red Cross only./n/nSkills and Qualifications:/n- Cerner experience required./n- Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care*, Feeding tube care and management*, Heparin, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen tanks, PCA*, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy*, PICC line management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Kidney Transplant*, Urology/Nephrology*./n/nAdditional Requirements:/n- Must have IL license in hand or be in the application process to apply./n- Experience with patient ratios of 6./n- Floating within scope to other Medical Surgical units is required./n- Weekend work is required every other weekend./n- No on-call requirement.
