Radiation Oncology Locums Opportunity - Peoria, ILAvailability

Coverage Dates (2026):

• July 27-31
• September 8-11
• September 21-25
• November 23-25 (facility closed November 26-27)
• December 14-18
• December 21-24
• December 28-31

Additional Need:

• Ongoing coverage throughout 2027

RequirementsLicense

• Active Illinois medical license preferred

Board Certification

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)

Practice DetailsPatient Population

• 100% Adult

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Occasional inpatient consults
• May stay until approximately 5:00 PM for chart rounds
• Limited call coverage; not a regular requirement

Daily Volume

• Average 35-50 patients on treatment per day

Procedures

• 3D Treatment Planning
• IMRT
• SBRT/SRS Treatments
• Simulations
• New Consultations
• Follow-Up Visits
• On-Treatment Visits (OTVs)

Support Staff

• 2 RNs
• 5 Radiation Therapists
• 1 Dosimetrist
• 1 Physicist
• 2 Front Desk Team Members

Facility Details

• Solo physician department
• Level II Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic
