We're a locally owned Express Employment Professionals office in Champaign , and we're adding an Internal Recruiter to help attract, evaluate, and place talent across light industrial, skilled, and office roles. This is not a cold sales role - but it does require a strong consultative, relationship-driven mindset . You'll be selling opportunities to candidates, building trust, and moving people to action every day. What You'll Be Doing Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates for light industrial, skilled, and office roles Actively market and sell job opportunities to candidates by understanding motivations, goals, and fit Manage job postings across multiple job boards and social platforms Conduct in-person, phone, and virtual interviews Match candidates to roles using a consultative, problem-solving approach Maintain accurate and compliant candidate records in our ATS Partner closely with internal recruiters and leadership to support hiring demands Follow up, close loops, and drive candidates through the hiring process Deliver a high-touch, professional candidate experience from first contact through placement What We're Looking For Recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience preferred Sales, customer service, or relationship-based experience strongly valued Confident communicator who can influence, build rapport, and overcome objections Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable using ATS platforms, job boards, and recruiting technology People-first mindset with strong follow-through and accountability Local to Champaign or willing to commute What You'll Get Competitive base pay Performance-based bonuses tied to results Paid time off and paid holidays Health benefits Hands-on training and ongoing support A stable, locally owned office with national backing Clear growth and leadership opportunities within the organization Why Express?
