TRI Ventures, Inc. d/b/a Aquent LLC (“Aquent LLC”) is seeking a Senior Front End Developer in East Moline, Illinois.

Multiple positions available.

Duties: Responsible for developing front-end web solutions using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS in an effort to

provide maximum value to end-users. Lead interaction with our IT partners to ensure a clear, efficient approach to

delivery and quality. Implement scalable front-end technologies using HTML, SCSS, LESS, and CSS. Lead requirements

gathering with clients, internal partners, and team members. Apply the theories and principles behind usability and

interface design. Design and implement front-end technologies while working in an agile environment. Provide

expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and

implementation stages. Create semantic, W3C valid, accessible, cross-browser compatible front-end web applications,

components, and websites, and create, maintain, and implement loosely-coupled, modular JavaScript solutions using

AngularJS framework and React library. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) within the realm of integrating front-end

technologies with back-end systems, MVC patterns, and integration with APIs and services and maintain and update

development standards library with best-practice approaches to front-end coding and development techniques and

processes.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management or

related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years’ experience performing front-end

development using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,

Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five

(5) years’ experience performing front-end development using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS. One (1) year of experience

must include: (i) Developing web applications using object-oriented languages such as JavaScript, AngularJS,

React/Redux, HTML, JSON, and CSS; (ii) Developing Enterprise single page web applications using React JavaScript

library and Redux state management, HTML5 via JSX, SASS and POSTCSS, Swagger to create API’s; (iii) Performing

Unit tests using test frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, Jest, and PhantomJS; (iv) Performing application testing

including failure mode analysis, debugging code, and testing the automation suite; (v) Defining and designing REST

API’s and data structures, and performing data manipulation; (vi) Creating algorithms to resolve complex problems; (vii)

Performing version control using GIT and SVN; (viii) Creating Integrated Development Environment using Eclipse IDE,

Notepad++, Sublime Text, WebStorm, Dev-C++; (ix) Fix defects and develop enhancements based on defect tracking

systems using JIRA and Rally; and (x) Interacting with business managers and business users to analyze requirements

and develop software architecture and production support based on those requirements.
