POSITION SUMMARYThis position is primarily responsible for maintaining information technology systems (including PC and LAN equipment) and supporting end-users in resolving issues at the direction of the IT Operations Lead. RESPONSIBILITIES --- Responsible for installation, and life-cycle maintenance of PCs, servers and LAN network connectivity equipment. --- Provides IT support to offices for the organization's standard hardware, software, and voice/data network solutions according to established policies and procedures --- Responsible for following all policies and procedures set forth by the department and company. --- Collaborates with team and supervisor in order to escalate and resolve end-user issues in a timely and efficient manner. --- Liaises with remote office counterparts and with offsite support desk vendors where applicable. --- The position is supervised by the IT Operations Lead with coordination of the IT Operations Manager and CTO. --- Responsible for maintaining local inventory maintenance and software license management and updating documentation accordingly. --- Responsible for installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and software (includes PCs, peripherals, servers, networking equipment, operating systems and other software) --- Supports on-site and remote end-users through walk-up, phone-based, and ticketing system requests. --- Performs complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches, and re-installations in accordance with established SLAs. Resolves issues quickly and efficiently and ensures end-user satisfaction. --- Monitors security compliance in accordance with Company IT standards, policies and procedures and at the direction of IT Operations Management. --- Provides new staff with PC/account setup and orientation. Reclaims equipment, backs up user data, and images workstations for reissue. --- Provides consulting/training/education services such as data management and staff training/orientation for standard systems. --- Performs appropriate duties associated with division and Company IT project-based activities. --- Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICIATIONS: --- Bachelor's degree and minimum 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination. --- Professional certifications as appropriate. --- Demonstrated experience with standard software applications including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Antivirus/Virus removal software, etc. --- Experience with support and troubleshooting of personal computers and peripherals including PC imaging, setup/deployment, and maintenance. --- Experience in a hybrid cloud environment is preferred including experience with O365, Sharepoint On-line, and other Cloud Computing technologies. --- Work and communicate with a wide range of people - peers, vendors, staff members including program leadership, and others. --- Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion. Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information. --- Must have a strong dedication to customer service including excellent written and verbal communication skills --- Formulate and clearly communicate ideas to others. --- Fluency in English and the primary language of the country or region supported. --- Work requires ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds on occasion. Work may require moderate physical exertion and/or physical strain. --- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. --- Ability to work under stress during peak workload periods. --- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
