York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix. About the Role: The
Operations Lead supervises the MRF daily operations to ensure the
highest standards are followed in order to ensure safety and
improve production. The primary focus of the position will be to
assist the Operations Manager in performing all duties associated
with maintaining a safe and productive work environment,
specifically supervising sorting staff and equipment operators. The
Operations Lead reports directly to the Operations Manager and
involves regular communication with the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable

Identifies and oversees execution of procedures to maximize
productivity and efficiency of the location. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the direction of up to 20 full-time
employees. Supervises daily schedules of employees and operations.
Ensures efficient and safe operation of the site. Ensures
compliance of Balcones safety training, policies and procedures.
Enforces Balcones safety rules and regulations. Ensures the
cleanliness and maintenance of facility. Engages employees to
create a safe, energetic work environment through feedback and
recognition. Investigates and completes reports of hazard
identifications and work-related incidents. Conducts employee
safety observations to ensure safety and productivity procedures
are being followed. Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality,
timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and
procedures. Ensures maintenance of equipment and facilities
Maintains daily production and inventory reports. Minimum Job
Qualifications: Must be able to read, speak, and write basic
English Must be able to Speak Spanish Mechanical aptitude and
Critical Thinking Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook,
and Word Basic math skills Ability to perform physical requirements
of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Other
duties as assigned. Preferred Job Qualifications: Prior supervisory
experience in an industrial environment Experience in the Recycling
industry preferred. Exceptional leadership, problem solving, and
organizational abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Normal work
environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions,
dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to
dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions,
including PPE. The physical demands described here are

successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable
