Sysco is a global leader in selling, marketing, and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare, educational facilities, and the hospitality industries. We are seeking a Linehaul Coordinator who will oversee our long-distance transportation efforts, ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of goods across our extensive distribution network. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong managerial capabilities, in-depth knowledge of transportation logistics, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards Sysco is known for in compliance with DOT regulations. Plan and coordinate long-distance shipments according to client demands and schedules. Monitor and manage the daily performance of drivers and vehicles, ensuring adherence to all safety and regulatory standards. Liaise with other department coordinators and clients to optimize delivery schedules and routes. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues regarding linehaul activities promptly. Prepare and review reports on linehaul operations performance regularly. Ensure all operations adhere to laws, regulations, and Sysco’s standards. Strong organizational and coordination abilities Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Proficiency in logistics and route management software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) or similar Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not required
