Job Description:

DESCRIPTION: The team leader is an entry-level management position that facilitates the day to day operation of the Re-Entry House such that all program goals are met. The Reentry House works with gentlemen who are re-entering the community following incarceration or have criminal justice involvement. The successful candidate will also perform duties and responsibilities of a residential counselor. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary tasks include scheduling of staff, assure compliance with licensing/medical guidelines, oversee maintenance, follow-up and re-evaluation of all the resident programs, files, and all other standards.
  • Maintain overview of noticeable trends occurring within the house and help facilitate the residents and staff towards positive change. Facilitate weekly CSIP staff meetings.
  • Be familiar with and address licensing standards, resident rights, ethical issues, and clinical considerations when relevant to team decisions.
  • Perform regular duties of a residential counselor including house coverage 40 hours/week and be on 24-hour call. QUALIFICATIONS: BA or BS in Human Services or related field, valid driver's license and excellent driving record. Two years of direct service working with people who experience co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges preferred. Prior experience working with criminal justice-involved people preferred. Valid driver's license, excellent driving record and safe, insured vehicle required WHAT WE OFFER :
