Job Description:

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Receiver. The position requires a strong retail background with a strong work ethic. It also requires knowledge and understanding of Binny's products and ability to verify information compared to the product received.

* Oversee accurate receiving of product by verifying goods and quantities received compared to vendor invoice and to Binny's Receiving Sheets
* Inspection of goods overall condition, including inspecting for damages, expired/old goods,
* Security of the Receiving Area by adhering to Binny's Receiving policies and monitoring of vendors and delivery drivers
* Communicating with Buyers, Managers and Departments about any receiving or product issues or instructions, product refusals, distro's, etc...
* Ability to provide clear and accurate notes on invoices regarding shortages, refusals, damages, etc...
* Ability to accurately enter receiving information into Real Time Receiving

Qualifications

* Prior receiving experience or knowledge of the products we carry
* Self-motivated and strong work ethic
* Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime, evenings, weekends and some holidays
* Organized with good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
* Ability to multi-task numerous functions and responsibilities
* Ability to use computer systems, including Binny's Store System and Real Time receiving
