Job Description Commons Servers serve food to residents in both the independent (Commons East) and assisted living (Commons West) areas. Our Servers play a vital role in our resident daily lives. We are looking for servers to become a part of our facility's compassionate and hospitable care-giving team. The servers hours are day shift starting at 5:30 am, with rotating weekends and holidays Responsibilities:Prepare food items for meals at our independent and assisted living communities.Transport food from kitchen to dining rooms.Serve meals to residents.Clean up kitchen and wash dishes.Clear tables and sanitize tables and tabletop items.Prepare dining rooms for the next meal.Performs other related work as required or requested.Requirements:Reliability is required.Superb customer service skills are required.Strong teamwork skills are required.Physical demands:Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to push/pull delivery carts.Working conditions:Works in a kitchen environment with exposure to hot foods/utensils, water, and potentially slick conditions. Safety procedures must be followed to limit hazards.
