Job Description:
The Quality Process Control Specialist is primarily responsible
for defining, monitoring and reporting critical control points
impacting product quality, performing detailed analysis of failure
modes, and leading root cause analysis and countermeasure
implementation. Additionally, the Quality Process Control
Specialist will support definition and execution of incoming
material inspection requirements and methods, implementation of
Quality at the Process tools, methods, and data collection, and the
collection of data relevant to test results. The Quality Process
Control Specialist assures the definition and implementation of
HACCP plans for the manufacture of finished goods that meet or
exceed defined parameters and controls non-conforming materials to
mitigate risk of use.
Essential Job Functions:
- Identifies Hazard and Critical Control Points within
manufacturing processes (HACCP)
- Implements and administers systematic data collection within
critical control points.
- Analyzes data, draws conclusions, and facilitates corrective
action
- Monitors existing processes; proactively implements
change
- Defines CCP inspection process and tool requirements.
- Assures timely disposition of Non-conforming material.
- Maintains accurate quality documentation related to critical
control points.
- Effectively communicates results with various departments,
verbally and written
- Prepares and publishes Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensures compliance with company policies and
procedures
- Other related duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
- Associates Degree in related discipline with 4 years practical
experience or BA/BS with 2 years practical experience, or a minimum
of 6 years of experience within a role directly
transferrable.
- Minimum of 2 years hands on quality control experience
preferred
- Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
requirements.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, SPC, Practical Problem Solving,
GMP
- Experience in a medical, chemical, and/or industrial
manufacturing field strongly preferred
- Experience with technical measurements and machines
requires
- Analytical and technical skills with focus on data analysis and
decision support tools
